Sales and Partnership Coordinator

**Job Purpose**
The purpose of the position is to support the sales management team through exhibit and demonstration research sales, administration, and execution. The role will involve working closely with show exhibitors and demonstration research clients, Discovery Farm partners, and the broader Discovery Farm and Events business unit team.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist with sales and customer relations for Ag in Motion, Canada's Outdoor Farm Show and Demonstration Research sales, along with event services and other GFM small in-person and digital events.
- Support the Sales Manager in executing sales contracts and agreements.
- Assist in tracking sales and updating directory map.
- Update client records in company systems
- Build meaningful relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and the sales team members at key industry events.
- Assist with client relations to ensure an extraordinary experience.
- Serve as the event onsite customer relationship team with clients to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
- Liaise with Marketing and Communications team regarding product deliverables.
- Assist in building connections between all events, Glacier FarmMedia Discovery Farm and GFM publications, premium services, listing platforms and other products.
**Qualifications**
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree (or relevant experience)
- One to two years of sales and/or customer service experience
- Experience in the agriculture and/or events industry preferred.
- Working knowledge of Map Your Show or other event management software is an asset.
- Project management skills
- Experience in sales support
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite of software
- Ability to work independently.
- Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills
- Exceptional client service and relationship management (both internal and external)
- Highly motivated and driven towards team success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced event management environment.
- Able/willing to travel (10% travel)
**Working Conditions**
The Sales and Partnership Coordinator regularly works in a professional environment, including at outdoor events or at the Discovery Farm sites from seeding to harvest that meets clients' and corporate expectations. Working from home is acceptable during the off-season. Evening and weekend work is required during peak seasons, primarily the growing and event season. Some travel may be required. Travel is required - up to 10%.
