**Education Coordinator**

Primacare Living Solutions is a privately held Canadian Long-Term Care Operator based in Toronto, Ontario and is a fully accredited member of both CARF and the OLTCA. We put people first by providing our residents with the highest standards in quality care and services and our staff with a supportive, flexible, and progressive work environment.

Our ongoing commitment to finding new, innovative living solutions for all seniors is highlighted by the implementation of the internationally acclaimed Meaningful Care Matters® Butterfly Model of Care. Primacare was the second LTC operator in Ontario to implement this model which focuses on delivering emotion-focused care that connects with people in a dignified, human way.

Additionally, in 2018, Primacare undertook a ground-breaking research project called The Albert Project, to investigate an innovative approach to dementia care that utilizes virtual reality (VR) as a therapeutic intervention for residents with moderate to severe dementia. The pilot phase was completed in 2019 with findings that showed it was clinically significant to their residents.

**Duties**
- Coordinate and oversee educational programs, ensuring they align with industry standards and client/students' needs.
- Develop curriculum and educational materials for various courses or training sessions.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of educational initiatives, making recommendations for improvement.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and other educational events to promote continuous learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and educational outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout their educational journey.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, instructors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Prior experience in Long Term Care
- RPN Designation in good standing with the CNO
- Knowledge of best practices in education and a passion for continuous learning.
