Embroidery Machine Operator

**JOB DUTIES**: Duties will include all aspects of the embroidery process including digitizing artwork, setting up machine, and completing embroidery process. The Embroidery Operator Position works in a fast-paced environment to meet production deadlines while ensuring output is of top quality.

Note: Until training is complete and full competency in the embroidery operation is achieved some of the embroidery duties listed below may be performed by a more experienced employee.

**Primary Embroidery Function**:
**1. **Start each day by reviewing production expectations with Production Lead/Art Director. Awareness is key to ensure that all orders are completed on time and that production levels are at factory standards.

2. Carefully reviewing job sheet to ensure end product meets customer’s needs prior to starting

3. Ensure Art Department has approved job prior to starting

4. Maintain an open line of communication with the Art Department and Production Coordinator to ensure problems are caught early and rectified quickly

5. Pulling correct file and digitizing artwork

6. Set up embroidery machine which includes hooping and unhooping fabric, threading the machine, laying out pieces, cleaning up loose threads.

7. Trouble shoot any flaws or machine problems, communicate quickly when encountering problems with the appropriate person

8. Keep accurate data and fill out reports on products and machinery

9. Follow machine preventative maintenance and cleaning procedures

10. Check for flaws, and make replacements before taking down the job

11. Always follow safety rules to ensure safety of self and others

12. Perform housekeeping duties to ensure clean, safe and organized work station

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
