Elmwood is currently seeking an Edgebander Operator with expertise in the cabinetry industry to join our team.
**A PIVOTAL ROLE ON A LARGE TEAM.**
- Operate Edgebander to cut materials according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine the dimensions and shape of the cuts
- Handle/load all materials and components in a diligent manner
- Inspect and verify material against customer order, record/report shortages and reject damaged material and products
- Achieve daily production targets
- Maintain equipment and ensures work area is clean and safe at all times
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on Edgebanding equipment
- Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures
- Support other functions as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE.**
- Must have 3-5 years Edgebanding experience
- Experience operating IMA, Biesse, Homag
- Experience setting up, operating, and maintaining machines
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
