**What You Will Be Doing**

To do this, you will
- Travel to customer locations to test and implement CarboNet chemistries
- Develop, update, and maintain chemistry Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for internal and external use
- Contribute to development of next generation flocculant and coagulant chemistries, providing feedback and guidance to the and research and development team.
- Perform analytical experiments and pilot scale water treatment processes.
- Oversee and develop junior scientists and engineers to meet project deadlines
- Interface with commercial and product implementation teams
- Mentor junior scientists, engineers and trainees
- Maintain a safe and fun lab and field environment

Experimental capabilities and knowledge set:

- Strong knowledge in standard jar testing protocols for design of water treatment packages (mixing velocity, scale up factors, settling rate calculation)
- Strong working knowledge of liquid solid separation processes
- Strong mechanical understanding of flow processes, pumps, and plumbing
- Strong ability to interface with customers and outside partners
- Ability to build process oriented business case
- Extremely strong knowledge of polymer chemistry and theory
- Strong technical training acumen (train the trainer).

**About You**

OR

+15 years experience in liquid solid separation processes.
- Proficiency working with colorimetric assays, titration, UV-VIS spectrometry, viscometers and other rheological measurements, focused beam reflectance.
- Possess significant work experience particularly with flocculants, coagulants, and jar testing
- Aptitude to operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment. Diagnose process bottlenecks and suggest recommended solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of pumps, motors, fittings and general pipe fitting.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work with mínimal supervision to meet deadlines
- Keen attention to detail
- Direct experience in liquid solid separation water treatment a requirement.
