**Accounting Support / Bookkeeper**

Novalex Auto Parts Inc. is a leading brand in Auto Supply, and we are looking for automotive supply enthusiasts who enjoy helping others and have a desire to grow in the industry.

As an **Accounting Support / Bookkeeper**, you will play an important part in performing all functions related to the Accounting Support and acting as a primary liaison to ensure we meet the business and client expectations. You will perform a variety of accounting duties, including assisting in all areas of the facility, from purchasing, warehousing, E-commerce functions, and the development of processes for overall services. You will help establish Novalex Auto Parts reputation as a premium supply chain that offers excellent customer support during all sales and after-sales procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Bank reconciliation, Journal entries and other day to day accounting functions
- Creating financial reports for month end
- Preparation of financial statements
- Maintain general ledger
- HR/training/onboarding support
- Year-end audit preparation assistant
- Ordering office supplies
- Workflow management
- Database management
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in business or accounting at the college level or higher
- 3 years' experience in a similar, hands-on role
- Prior experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Epicor
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Motivated and ability to take initiative
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient in both an independent environment and as part of a team

**Salary**: $17.00 -$22.00 per hour plus benefits and incentives depending on experience.
