**This casual, on-call supply position requires that you are able and willing to work at all three of our EarlyON centres.**

Reporting to the EarlyON Site-supervisor, the Program Facilitator assists in the planning and facilitation of programs for parents/caregivers and children from 0 - 6 years of age; upholds agencies policies and procedures; ensures the accountability of all EarlyON programs and services and provides parents and caregivers resources and referrals to appropriate agencies and community services**.**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Able to work at all 3 locations: 2555 EarlyON, Bridlewood EarlyON, and West Scarborough EarlyON
- Facilitates appropriate programs for parents/caregivers and children 0-6 years
- Provides families/caregivers with research based information on all aspects of early childhood development. Supports families/caregivers by active listening, providing information and resources and by making referrals/giving contact information
- Administrative duties including daily attendance, responding to correspondence, etc.
- Undertakes necessary housekeeping duties
- Participate in ongoing fundraising activities throughout the year
- Other duties as assigned
- Some relief work during other program times

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Degree/Diploma in Early Childhood Education and experience working in a Family Support/EarlyON setting
- Experience working with young children and families
- Diversity and cultural competence
- Demonstrate reliability and commitment
- Knowledge of child development, community resources
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent English skills, written and oral
- South East Asian Languages an asset

**WORK SCHEDULE**:
Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, some evenings and Saturday mornings

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff and families are encouraged to wear a mask, program space is cleaned regularly, masks are available at site for those who don't have one.

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (required)

**Experience**:

- ECE working with children and families: 2 years (preferred)
