**Description**:
In this position you will deliver care to patients within a multidisciplinary team in Surgical Services. You will be working alongside physicians, nurses, surgeons, and allied health staff. Your primary role is to assist on elective and STAT c-sections and assist in the gynecology room. This position may also provide General Surgery, Orthopedic and Plastic OR support. Other clinical duties include wound care, drain removal, assisting in OPD, endoscopy and other various tasks. You will also be seeing consults on Ward/ER for General Surgery and Orthopedic patients. Job duties include examination of the patient, documenting the history, conducting a complete physical examination, developing a treatment plan in consultation with the attending/supervising physician, writing appropriate orders, and entering these orders into the patient care electronic or manual system. Appropriate supervision and support are provided, and they will begin with a formal orientation and assessment. Only those demonstrating the strongest qualifications will be contacted for an interview.
