**What is the role?**

The Business System Analyst will review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. The incumbent will document requirements, define scope and objectives, and will formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.

**What will you do?**
- Requirements Analysis. Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement.
- Document and communicate the results of your analysis.
- Coordinate and facilitate ongoing reviews of business processes ensuring security and compliance and developing optimization strategies.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to effectively communicate findings and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
- Follow and align processes with the System Development Lifecycle processes, policies and standards.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
- Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes

**What will you need to succeed?**

**EEducation and Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in any Information Technologies (IT) discipline, but IT Management Information Systems or Computer Systems Analyst discipline is most preferred
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in the Business analysis field is required

Experience in Regulatory projects is preferred
- Experience with banking and financial industry is preferred
- Experience with work flow collaboration tools such as: Jira, Confluence is preferred

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- High proficient in standard end-user computing tools such as Google Applications, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio or equivalent
