Job Description

**Business Systems Analyst**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • **Rebuilding and Enhancing Financial Systems**: Modularly rebuild and enhance our US Collateral Dashboard, ILST internal Reporting, and Cashflow Forecasting systems, with reconciliation capabilities within our in-house application.
  • **Consolidating and Implementing Data Controls**: Rebuild will need to also consolidate wholesale and retail collateral details and implement data controls through reconciliation with 2052A and other reports.
  • **Utilizing Stress Testing Application**: Utilize our existing wholesale stress testing application for stress testing, consolidation, controls, and governance capabilities, including audit functionality, role-based access controls, completeness checks, discards, and exceptions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Business Requirement Gathering**: Gather business requirements and analyze business processes within the financial industry.
  • **Documentation and Testing**: Document requirements using Jira and Confluence, and conduct User Acceptance Testing, including designing tests, developing detailed test cases and test plans, and documenting results.
  • **Technical Expertise**: Possess strong technical expertise in wholesale banking, capital markets, liquidity risk, stress testing, and financial markets.
  • **Collaboration and Communication**: Collaborate with various teams and levels to deliver end-to-end solutions.

**Requirements**

  • **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Alteryx, as well as experience working with REST APIs (e.g., Postman) and JSON format.
  • **Atlassian Tools**: Experience working with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
