Research Assistant, Lawson Health Research Institute

Responsibilities include; literature searches, data extraction and data entry. The Research Assistant may also be asked to help senior researchers with other study tasks depending on the projects/grants being held. This is a 5 day per week (37.5 hours per week) position. The CORRE Research group is part of Parkwood Institute Research - Lawson Health Research Institute. The research lab is located at Parkwood Institute, Main Building.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in Sciences or Psychology
- Experience working in an academic/research environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Adaptable, flexible and resourceful
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Familiarity with Western libraries for searching scientific databases

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous knowledge and experience in neurorehabilitation
- Experience with reference management software
- Strong, formal writing skills
- Masters-level education

**Immunization Requirements**
- Provide documentation you have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and a written commitment to follow any future Public Health recommendations and St. Joseph's Health Care London policies and processes related to Covid management in the workplace.
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
