**JOB SUMMARY**:
This position is integral within the North American Payroll team to aid in the collection, organization, & maintenance of company hires. This role will be responsible for initiating and completing the new hire’s onboarding workflow in our local HRIS/Payroll system. They will be the first and main line of contact with retail stores & corporate employees, managing all day-to-day payroll inquiries and functions. This can include processing promotions, terminations, and other general endeavors. This role will also assist the NA Payroll Manager with their bi-weekly pre & post payroll preparations.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- New hire Onboarding
- Launch onboarding, follow up & finalize onboarding process in ADP US & CAD.
- Creating and maintaining digital employee file folders
- New hire data entry into HRIS & Payroll system
- Maintaining accurate data integrity
- Actioning & organizing employee promotions, transfers, & general updates
- Terminate employees in system, Issue ROE’s where necessary & calculating final pay.
- Extraction and formatting of GL files post-payroll processing for the Finance team.
- Aiding in various payroll preview processes and reports to ensure pay information is processed accurately and timely, including several ADP data audits.
- Provide excellent customer service experience daily to all level of internal & external customers.
- Maintain, update & format Excel Payroll Reports on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly bases.
- All other duties or projects as assigned
**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**:
- Successfully onboarding new hires within days of hire
- Customer service to all internal and external customers
- Accurate data integrity and processing of employee changes
**REQUIREMENTS**:
**EDUCATION**:
Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration - Human Resources or Accounting
**EXPERIENCE**:
- Experience in the retail industry and office environment valued
**SKILLS**:
- ADP Workforce Now experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and able to deal comfortably with people at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information. Must be able to handle sensitive information professionally and discreetly.
- Strong time management
- Positive, professional and energetic attitude
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Effective & Efficient under pressure
- Program experience required: MS Excel, Word, Outlook
- Must be an ambassador of the L’Occitane brand
**PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS**:
- Must be available from Monday to Friday, some weekend work may be applicable during busy seasons
- Must be able to sit and use a computer for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
- Travel may be required (by car or train)
