Smockum Zarnett LLP is looking to hire an enthusiastic individual with a positive “can do” attitude to join our team.

**Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Answer incoming telephone calls, respond to queries, and direct calls appropriately
- Sort, distribute and/or scan mail, including courier packages and other correspondence
- Preparing and arranging couriers and outgoing mail
- Monitoring incoming faxes and forwarding them to appropriate parties
- Maintain a daily attendance list and visitor log
- Keep the kitchen/boardroom clean and organized
- Ordering office and coffee supplies and organizing them upon arrival
- Sorting and verifying vendor receipts and other documents
- Media Processing
- Maintaining filing and records system
- Warehousing of files
- Assisting with offices/cubicles set up (ie. monitors, keyboards etc.)
- Other clerical/administrative/office duties as needed

**To be successful in this role, you possess**:

- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in a law firm is an asset
- Secondary school education required
- Ability to lift 20+ pounds as necessary
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Tech savvy
- Able to grasp new concepts quickly

Permanent full-time

Work hours 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

**Salary**: $33,500.00-$35,000.00 per year
