**Job Summary**

You may possess multiple skills, such as an aptitude for tools, love of the outdoors, Previous experience as a construction gas fitter considered an asset.

**Responsibilities**:
**Installations**
- Participate in all construction and remodeling projects involving gas fitting changes and/or additions.
- Assisting the Gas Technician in the installation of underground and above ground gas lines to and from the pool heater to gas supply to TSSA code.
- G2/G3 holders will assist in the inspection, purge, activation, repair and service or removal of natural gas or propane appliances.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Supplies**
- Make local trips to vendors/suppliers.
- Back up driver for gas technician
- Keep detailed and accurate daily records of fittings and supplies used for installations.

**Industry Knowledge**
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of Gasfitter 3 certifications, completion of Gasfitter 2 certification considered an asset.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allows you to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage demands of multiple projects on the go.
- Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times when representing the company.
- Ability to be on time and arrive to work in a timely manner.
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Ability to be respectful of clients’ home and/or property
- Highly motivated, organized, and reliable.

**Work Conditions**
- This position requires the ability to travel into the yard daily.
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 lbs is required.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g. Safety boots, Safety goggles, hard hat etc.)
- Working both indoor and outdoor
- Hours of work 7:30 AM to finish.
- Will be exposed to hazards associated with the trade.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Stouffville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
