We are hiring an IT Systems Administrator

**POSTION SUMMARY**

Report to the VP of Finance and Administration, the IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for the effective oversight and operation of IT services and support at AGF and its subsidiaries. This individual will champion technical support, technology infrastructure, service operations, project management, and resources management at multiple locations.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assess the current IT practices in the Organization, the procedure in place, policies, security systems and make recommendations for both software and hardware to improve operational efficiencies and quality.
- Onboard & offboard staff to IT systems hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting and assisting staff with day-to-day IT tasks.
- Support Management in assessing IT risks, researching and implementing IT security best practices and training staff in cyber security.
- Interact with vendors to resolve technical issues with hardware and software.
- Support Finance department in managing IT budget and IT vendors.
- Develop IT manuals, procedures, and documentation.

**QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency with VPN networks, firewalls, encryption, and other aspects of network security technologies.
- Experience performing systems integration to automate processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Experience in ERP system maintenance and reporting.
- Experience in the configuration and administration of VMs (virtual machines).
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively and meaningfully, comfortable facilitating presentations to all levels of stakeholders with an approach that simplifies complex information clearly and concisely

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
