The Manager Procurement Systems Administration is responsible for providing leadership, technical expertise and support for staff with respect to planning, execution and delivery of procurement related systems as well as for government-wide data standards and financial transactions.

Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration, Public Administration or Information Technology or other related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
- Supervisory experience including resource planning and allocation, recruitment, coaching, mentoring, training and development, and performance management.
- Procurement knowledge and experience, preferably in public sector.
- Experience developing policies and processes.
- Knowledge of change management, data management systems, audit and business requirements.
- Knowledge of tendering systems, preferably MERX.
- Knowledge of process and continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written communication.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated political acumen and the ability to foster excellent working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SAP, preferably Material Management Module.

**Duties**:
Reporting to the Director, Procurement Centre of Excellence, the Manager Procurement Systems Administration's key responsibilities are to lead and manage a team in executing operational tasks and improvement projects. Coordinate intake and prioritize systems related optimization initiatives. Research, analyze and make recommendations on the viability and efficiency of procurement related systems. Develop policy and process standards for data and procurement related systems, research procurement systems monitoring tools, system support methods and performance monitoring methods, manage data standards, master data and vendor records, manage standard records systems and data management systems, develop and maintain strong partnerships with departments and agencies in order to assess requirements for procurement systems and performance management tools and manage, lead and recruit a team of systems and data management professionals.
