Production Line Supervisors will be responsible for day-to-day operations, managing the production / packaging area. The incumbent will need to have team management skills as this would involve managing people working on lines doing repetitive jobs to ensure safety first and quality always.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for the implementation of food safety and company policies in production lines and ensuring that employees are adhering to GMPs
- Accountable for daily pre-operations inspections of machinery and paper work for various production line
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on production and packaging machines, and coordinate with maintenance team for smooth functioning and minimize breakdown time
- Create master schedule for three bacon lines and ensure production line outputs
- Ensure that targets quantities are met
- Ensure that employees are producing the product as per customer specifications and requirements
- Responsible and adapt to all management daily plans of production
- Train new and assigned employees on process, materials and equipment handling
- Work in conjunction with the Manager to develop and implement improvements to achieve departmental results and objectives
- Provide excellent leadership by example from the floor to your team, acting with honesty and integrity, ensuring that the cultural values of Freshouse Foods are being promoted at all times

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience working in meat processing / food industry would be considered an asset
- Interpersonal skills to maintain positive employee relations
- Ability to work within a team framework, simultaneously lead and motivate team members
- Ability to stand and work for long shifts, if required
- Comfortable working in a cold environment and around raw and cooked meat products for extended periods of time
- Hands on, willingness to learn and adapt to multiple priorities to achieve expected results
