**Visual Content & Communications Officer**

The Visual Content & Communications Officer (VCCO) will be an integral member of the Business Development & Marketing Team and play a key role in both internal and external communications. The VCCO will possess excellent graphics skills and be relied upon for your creative and outside of the box thinking on a wide range of events and campaigns. The VCCO will work collaboratively with all Department Managers to generate provincial newsletter content, social media posts, web and digital campaign creation etc.

**Main Responsibilities/Duties**:

- Graphic Design - Design services for print and online marketing for major program & business development properties as well as for ongoing targeted special events and fundraising campaigns
- Design and compose internal communication documents, i.e. letterheads, business tools, newsletters and print/web resources for the several engagement teams across the organisation
- Compile, create and publish monthly provincial newsletter campaigns in Constant Contact
- Maintain and manage communications with SOO’s online fundraising platform (Crowd Change) including: fundraising event page creation, reporting, host and user support
- Manage several projects in a timely and effective manner

- Ability to communicate complex ideas and information effectively to others
- Ability to extrapolate action items from marketing metrics and analytics to refine content and strategies
- Competent with range of tools and technology necessary to support organization’s initiatives
- Contributes both individually and collaboratively in a time-sensitive environment
- Approaches challenges and opportunities with a positive attitude
