Human Resources Manager

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Be committed to Metrix Group’s values and have a desire to model these values to unify staff
- Understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Process payroll and regulatory filings
- Onboard and offboard employees
- Maintain employee records and files
- Planning and organizing company events and meetings (Social Committee)
- Plan and engage in annual recruitment
- Manage Firm programs with government entities (Represent a client, Tracs, ROE Web, Service Canada etc.)

Education & Experience
- 5+ years of human resources experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management
- Professional Human Resources designation (CPHR) would be an asset
- Experience in accounting and/or public practice considered an asset
- Experience with Sage, Practice Management
- Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and other employment laws

Hours of Work & Compensation
- Flexible work hours
- Friday’s off in July, August and September
- Paid overtime (days in lieu or annual payout)
- Paid professional development
- 3 weeks’ vacation
