**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and organize files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily retrievable.
- Track business expenses and liaise with accountant to process expenses, invoices and HST returns.
- Track consulting billable hours and consultant expenses.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members.
- Perform clerical duties such as typing correspondence, reports, and other documents as required.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment that promotes productivity.
- This position is mostly working from home, but 2 x per month the Admin Assistant needs to attend at the President's home office in South Etobicoke, usually on Fridays to manage office functions and pick-up/drop-off documents.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar clerical role (e.g. bookkeeping) is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- This position is home-based but will need to attend at the President's home office 2 x per month.
- This position is well-suited for someone who is semi-retired, juggling multiple clients/projects, looking for part-time work while attending school, or just getting started in the Canadian labour market.
- Canadian experience is NOT required.
- Flexibility and a great attitude are a must.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
