**Job Summary**

As a Logistics Coordinator at TerraGen Solar, you will work closely with Operations, Project Management, and Sales to coordinate the logistics operations of our organization. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and customer service.

**Role Responsibilities**:
**1. Coordination of Shipments**: Coordinate the scheduling and execution of shipments, ensuring that products are dispatched according to established timelines and delivery requirements. Review bookings verifying accurate pickup and / or delivery information.

**2. Carrier Management**: Liaise with third-party Brokers and freight forwarders to arrange transportation for all shipments. Negotiate and develop rates with carriers based on the type of transportation services while optimizing costs and meeting customer delivery expectations.

**3. Documentation and Paperwork**: Prepare and review all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, customs documentation, and export/import paperwork Utilizing Microsoft Excel. Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**4. Order Fulfillment**: Work closely with the warehouse and distribution teams to ensure that orders are picked, packed, and loaded in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with the pre-established weights and dimensions. Monitor order status and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.

**5. Shipment Tracking and Communication**:Continuously track the status of all shipments and provide regular updates to customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to outbound shipments.

**6. Customer Service**: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues related to all shipments promptly and professionally. Negotiate any additional charges with carriers ensuring the accuracy of the information and obtaining appropriate supporting documentation. Proactively communicate with customers to anticipate their needs and exceed their expectations.

**7. Compliance and Training Responsibilities**: Adhere to all company policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures. Comply with all laws, regulations, and standards. Assist with training of new employees.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to effectively communicate with others.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Task oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage task in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize outbound logistics operations.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment an asset
- Ability to work full time hours

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
