Leisure Travel Advisor - Winnipeg, MB
- Embark on the next step in your career journey with Direct Travel
As key members of the Vision Travel team, Leisure Travel Advisor will be responsible for the successful completion of leisure travel arrangements for Vision Travel clients. This role will work closely with Leisure Travel team members within the Winnipeg, MB branch and report to the Branch/Regional Manager. The Winnipeg Office will be re-locating out of the downtown location by the end of summer 2023.
Expedition Expectations
- Provide leisure travel sales by building a clientele of new and existing business
- Build client base through Virtuoso marketing, local events and personal networking
- Sell Vision Travel strategic supplier products
- Plan itineraries, book tickets, and arrange travel accommodations and services
- Research and provide solutions to client travel-related problems
- Provide excellent customer services to internal and external clients
- Continued education via Virtuoso Travel Academy, internal programs, and travel
- This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or efforts associated with the position

Passport to Success
- A minimum of two (2) years of travel agency experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Demonstrate professional customer service skills
- Maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources
- Proven pursuit of learning and self-development
- Demonstrate personal and organizational integrity
- Working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Solid organizational skills that result in enhanced productivity
- Must be able to lawfully work in Canada
