Production Supervisor

Baied'urfe, Canada SCP Science Full time

**Duties**
- Plan and perform reactions of metallic salts and organic acids to create concentrated metallo-organic standards;
- Quantification of metal content in metallo-organic solutions based on the QC protocols;
- Plan and coordinate the production based on the planning and schedules
- Act as technical support for the quality control processes and verifications.
- Dilution of concentrated Metallo-organic solutions to create single-element standards;
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials as well as finished bulks material with dates of expiration and initiate production accordingly;
- Use the MS Office and ERP system to create production documents as required by the production schedule;
- Verify the production documentation before product release according to pertinent procedures;
- Monitor, evaluate and ensure performance of production employees under their responsibility;
- Ensure the competence of employees under their supervision to perform their assigned tasks;
- Create and provide reports to management regarding Key Performance Indicators, such as back orders, order fill time and production cycle time;
- Work closely with Production Manager for the implementation and improving of new production processes and products
- Other tasks as required.

**Essential Skills and Knowledge**
- University or College level education in a relevant field (petro-chemistry and/or organic synthesis);
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience; previous work experience in petrochemical manufacturing would be a plus;
- Familiar to reactors and other industrial equipment is an asset.
- Very good knowledge of WHMIS.
- Excellent communication abilities (written / oral) in both English and French;
- Organized, enthusiastic, able to prioritize and deliver results;
- Strong work ethic and motivation;
- Good knowledge of XFR; Viscometers; UV; Autotitrators; digestion sytems and ICP would be an asset;
- Proficient in working within a computerized environment: very good knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of ERP systems would be an asset.

**Salary**: $38,556.54-$97,192.01 per year

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Petro-Chemistry: 5 years (required)
