**Fabric Mender**

The mender carries out the inspection and repair tasks required by the inspection team. He or she ensures that products classified as seconds are inspected and repaired.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:
**1. Repair**:

- Inspection and repair of second-grade roll fabrics.
- Be able to work standing up in front of the inspection table
- Perform routine quality checks, including style, size, tissue and immediately report discrepancies to supervisor if results do not conform to requested parameters.
- Ensure that work order documentation is complete in all respects and that quality control results are captured.
- Keep work area clean and organized, ensuring that roll inventory is neat and tidy.
- Ensures that equipment is maintained in good condition and informs supervisor or plant manager of any damaged or defective equipment or equipment requiring adjustment.
- May be asked to work in other areas of the Quality, Sampling and Operations sections.

**2. Samples**
- Measure, cut and prepare samples according to requested parameters
- Preparation of customer orders

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
