Key responsibilities include formulating and executing marketing and sales strategies, conducting market research, developing budgets, and identifying new business opportunities. **What you’ll do**:
- Develop and execute marketing, sales, and business development strategies.
- Work with senior management on strategic planning and assess its effectiveness.
- Research market trends and customer needs for new business partnerships.
- Manage the budget for sales and marketing for cost efficiency.
- Explore new revenue streams through alliances and stay informed about our offerings.
- Lead client negotiations and manage sales contracts, including bids and tenders.
- Identify new market opportunities by staying current with industry trends.
- Lead the sales and marketing teams towards common goals with effective communication.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal teams.
- Be an active member of the executive management and product development teams.
- Hybrid work arrangement, optimally balanced for both on-site engagement and remote flexibility. You will spend approximately 60% of your time fulfilling on-site responsibilities at the Stoney Creek, ON location, complemented by 30% of your role being conveniently managed through remote work from your home. Additionally, this role encompasses about 10% travel, providing opportunities for broader engagement and professional growth.
**Who you are**:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a similar area is required.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is an advantage.
- At least 10 years of experience in business development, marketing, and sales, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Dust control industry experience is a plus.
- Bilingual in French is a very nice asset.
