**Position Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily inspection of all products to ensure that all products meet current standards.
- Defective products to be quarantined in designated areas.
- Label and stamp production once it passes inspections.
- Pre-pour and post-pour dimensional checks on product and keep proper documentation.
- Conduct destructive and non-destructive testing and inspection of raw materials and products.
- Maintain records of all quality, test and inspection reports.
- Assist Production Supervisors and the Plant Manager to correct any quality issues that should arise.
- Ensure compliance to any special quality assurance procedures required by project specifications.
- Support the QC Supervisor during plant certification audits.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the QC Supervisor.
- Maintain a safe work environment for employees.
- Participate in training sessions on quality management practices for new employees.

**Qualifications**
- Post secondary education in a Construction/Civil related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Work experience in the concrete industry is an asset.
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade 1 certification is an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
- Familiarity with Quality Control methodologies and tools used in manufacturing environments.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
