**We are currently recruiting a casual/relief Personal Support Worker to assist our male client with Dandy Walker Syndrome, to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.**

**Our client enjoys attending craft fairs, spending time at the library, and enjoys the great Canadian sport of Hockey. He enjoys the outdoors by going for walks, riding public transit, and going swimming. When he's at home, he enjoys helping around the house.**

**Location**:

- Powell River, BC (Near the Library)

**Compensation**:

- $28.00 per hour

**Shifts & Hours of Work**:

- Casual and relief

**Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)**
- Community support such as accompany client to community events, walks, and swimming.
- Daily personal care such as washroom routine and catheter care
- Bladder and bowel care
- Showering, and dressing only after swimming
- Hand over hand feeding

**Required Qualifications**:

- Physically able to push a manual wheelchair required
- Fully vaccinated required
- Must be able to perform tasks that require bending and lifting required

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $28.00 per hour
