Marketing and Office Coordinator

On behalf of a Sarnia-Lambton non-profit charitable organization, we are recruiting for the position of **Marketing and Office Coordinator**.
The Marketing and Office Coordinator will report directly to the Executive Director, providing marketing, administrative and reception support for the organization.
**Application must include resume, cover letter, and a sample/portfolio of previous marketing work.**
Hours - Full-time position (34 hours/week) Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4pm
Wage/Benefits - $22-$27
Start Date - April 24th, 2023
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications/Marketing OR a Diploma in Business Administration and Marketing
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience using multiple social media platforms for organic promotion of an organization/business
- High degree of comfort utilizing social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc. to connect with target audiences.
- Experience using Canva program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and design
- Superior organizational and time management skill
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of the organization
- Valid Driver’s License
- Upon offer of hire, a negative criminal record check will need to be provided.
**Responsibilities**:
Marketing & Communications 70%
- In conjunction with the Public Education Coordinator responsible for the delivery and implementation of the Centre’s Communications plan.
- Plan the Centre’s external communications content across multiple social media platforms, create and share content using a trauma-informed lens and manage social media platforms-including page moderation.
- Monitor supplies of pamphlets, booklets, and public relations material and reorder as necessary.
- Create a digital and physical quarterly newsletter to be sent out to stakeholders.
- Maintain the Centre’s media file.
Office Coordination 30%
- Responsible for greeting & screening clients and others, answering and directing phone calls, ensuring telephone coverage during office hours, scheduling appointments, typing, photocopying, faxing, filing, and coordinating incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist Public Education Coordinator with volunteer schedule for the crisis line/chat, including finding replacements as necessary, distributing the schedule to volunteers, communicate any changes to coordinator, and communicate any difficulties encountered to the Executive Director.
- Assist in on-boarding of new board members and maintain records and training for current members.
- Organize monthly mailing of minutes, reports, agendas and other material to members of the Board of Directors.
- Compile all required statistics on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis as needed, and ensure their submission to the appropriate persons or funding bodies.
- Carry out other such duties as may be assigned on occasion by the Executive Director.
**Salary**: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
