**Specific Accountabilities**:

- Explores trends and new opportunities and conducts needs assessments to determine the economic development goals of each nation and then creates new programs, services, and revenue-generating initiatives to achieve these goals
- Delivery of entrepreneurship training and skill development to both First Nations and Enactus Lambton students
- Responsible for leading, directing and/or working with project consultants to conduct market research on greenhouse and aquaponic development opportunities
- Develop business plans that allow the Nations to achieve their goal of job creation and economic development as a result of the greenhouses and aquaponics projects
- Responsible for logistics, communications, working with each First Nation and Agriculture specialist to help communities achieve food security goals
- Presents greenhouses as a solution to the economic development goals of First Nations
- Assist in the agricultural development of growing plans and in training for each First Nation’s community champion
- Organizes all of the key elements and logistics that will lead to the successful implementation and building of an aquaponics facility in a First Nation; including coordinating logistics, coordinating and leading meetings between Enactus, the Nations, and aquaponics consultants
- Responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and donors
- Responsible for the organization of all financial documents related to Enactus
- Responsible for Enactus Regional and National competitions preparation
- Provides support to the Lambton College Community Engagement team through the assistance with department events, activities, and initiatives
- Other duties as assigned

**About the Position**:
This is a full-time support staff Bargaining Unit position reporting to the Associate Director, Foundation, Alumni & Enactus working 35 hours per week at an hourly rate of $36.19.

The Enactus Coordinator is responsible for the development, delivery and coordination of Enactus outreach programs that engage First Nations communities, including band administration, Chief and Council, and the community at large. The Coordinator also is responsible for guiding and overseeing Enactus students and their involvement with all Enactus projects. The Coordinator also oversees EBAT students and full time interns.

The Coordinator is responsible for the development, planning and execution of all activities, initiatives and events aimed at advancing Enactus Lambton’s strategic mission of implementing economic development, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and revenue generating initiatives in First Nations across Canada. They will build relationships with Enactus students and First Nation leadership with the intent of advancing First Nations’ goals and objectives. They share responsibility in developing and overseeing Enactus social media platforms; developing social strategies and campaigns that raise the overall platform of Enactus Lambton work, including the Enactus Lambton website.

The Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the Lambton College Foundation on funding sources for Enactus Lambton programs, and will be required to travel to First Nations communities monthly to contribute to the success of development, delivery and coordination of programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Three-year post-secondary degree/diploma in the field of Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Business Development, Business Studies, or Indigenous Studies
- Minimum of five years of recent related work experience in entrepreneurship/business development, market research
- Strong demonstrated written communication experience, specifically with respect to grant writing
- Experience with building and maintaining relationships
