Heuvelmans is looking to expand our team and hire a **Customer Retention Specialist **for our dealership (referred to internally as a BDC rep).

As a Customer Retention Specialist, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective customers, promoting our products and services, and setting appointments for our sales & service teams. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication skills.

This is a **full-time** position that requires availability Monday to Friday from, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The role requires presence in office, with the possibility of a future work-from-home arrangement. This position works closely with the sales and service managers, as well as the tower operator and sales team, to ensure a seamless transition of customers. This position reports directly to the Office Manager.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Generation of sales lead lists from our database
- Managing and updating customer database
- Contacting customers from leads list with the goal of setting sales appointments
- Responding to customer leads from online platforms (e.g., social media and website)
- Sending appointment reminders and follow up
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating with sales/service representatives
- Contacting customers for recommended service maintenance with the goal of setting appointments for service
- Documenting all call activities and customer interactions accurately in our system to ensure a seamless transition with the sales and service teams
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer concerns or complaints

**Qualifications/Competencies**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree in a related field is an asset, but not required
- Excellent customer services skills
- Strong communication skills with a persuasive and friendly phone demeanor
- Ability to handle objections and turn them into opportunities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
