**About us**

Can-Blast Inc specializes in manufacturing blasting equipment and electrical control systems. Can-Blast’s headquarters is located in North Bay, ON and exports equipment around the world.

**Other responsibilities will include**:
Purchasing:

- Create and verify purchases orders to vendors ensuring prices and terms are accurate.
- Creating blanket orders for repeat OEM production.

Receiving:

- Receiving and checking all stock for damage or shortages. Report discrepancies accordingly.
- Put away inventory that comes into the warehouse in the appropriate stocking locations.
- Identify and label all stock items on parts shelves and re-arrange as required.
- Pick up parts and supplies from local suppliers as required.

Production:

- Pull parts for production runs and distribute parts to the production lines.
- Managing the inventory to ensure inconsistencies and low levels are kept to a minimum.
- Completing inventory counts and creation of required order forms or reports.
- Assist with invoicing and coordination.

Shipping
- Picking, label parts and packing in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
- Organize transport and prepare weigh bills for shipment.
- Complete credit return forms for all stock items being returned.
- Delivery orders to local customers as required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center considered an asset.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office programs including word and excel.
- Previous experience establishing inventory practices and procedures.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to problem solve and make sound decisions.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and assist with ongoing business needs.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Positive disposition and desire to dig in, step up and work in collaboration with the management team to build the business in a meaningful way.

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
