The Court and Justice Services (CJS) division provides a wide range of resolution and court services for people involved in legal disputes. In collaboration with the courts of Alberta, Court and Justice Services provides various programs and services including educating and helping Albertans finding solutions for legal issues, navigating the court system, offering programs at no cost or a nominal charge, and operational support to all courts in Alberta.

**Role Responsibilities**:
The Court and Justice Services (CJS) division of Alberta Justice provides comprehensive family support order and resolution services to Albertans and court operations services to support the Alberta Courts. Within CJS, the Court and Justice Services Operations team provides workforce development and business supports to the courts and the entire division.

In this position, you will be Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Operations and Divisional Initiatives (SODI):
As a Business Support Officer, you will be accountable for:

- Providing forms and violation ticket management for the division; This includes inventory control, coordination of new and updated form and ticket content, issues management, stakeholder communication, and coordination with external vendors.
- Coordinating and supporting the planning and prioritization of accommodation, infrastructure and facility needs for CJS;
- Supporting emergency management and related issues (business continuity, workplace health and safety, etc.) for CJS, including coordinating updates to policy and protocol documents.
- Managing diverse stakeholder groups, including the judiciary, Law enforcements agencies, senior leaders in CJS, and external organizations.
- Providing centralized contract management support for CJS, including monitoring and tracking procurement projects, and providing support to business areas to ensure successful and timely contracting that meets Government of Alberta (GoA) best practices.
- Monitoring and tracking active and in-progress contracts to ensure obligations and needs are addressed in a timely fashion. Supporting and coordinating work on divisional policies and programs as needed.**Qualifications**:
Required:
University graduation in a related field such as Business or Social Sciences, plus 2 years progressively responsible related experience;
Related experience/requirements are as follows:

- Experience working with stakeholders in the context of a government or other large, complex organization.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Equivalency:
Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
