**MONDAY TO FRIDAY FROM 10-2**

**Document Control Assistant Job Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Print, distribute and file documents in physical and digital records
- Collect, copy, scan, store and upload documents
- Check for accuracy and edit files plus grammar check documents
- Review and update documents
- Ensure all technical documents, such as reports, drawings and agreement, are collected and registered in system
- Comply with regulatory criteria
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that documentation practices are consistent throughout the organization.
- Assist with audits and reviews
- Ensure paperwork integrity
- Remove outdated documents
- Organize training on revised/ updated documents
- Organize training of new personnel on the document system
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
- Notify personnel of updated document versions and how to access them
- Work with documents and records across various departments, including quality, marketing and purchasing
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement

**Document Control Assistant Skills and Qualification**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in document or records management
- Experience working with many file types
- Ability to find and preserve paper documents
- Extensive understanding of computer software in the Microsoft Office Suite, including scanning of papers
- Proficiency with scanners and administrative technologies
- Multitasking ability
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle data fast and accurately.
- Write clearly so other people can understand.
- Read and understand work-related materials.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with others via face-to-face and via online methods
- MUST pass a criminal record and reference check

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

- Surrey, BC V3S 2V7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Secondary School (preferred)
