Good Riddance Professional Organizing & Move Management has been in business for 20 years. We offer a variety of services for our clients who live all over Metro Vancouver. Each day is different from the last - with GR specific systems and procedures for each of the services we provide. We specialize in:

- Downsizing
- Organizing
- Pack, move, and unpack services
- Senior move management
- Estate sales & services
- Home staging
- Clear-outs

**OUR TEAM**:
Our employees & sub-contractors have all been with us for 2 - 10 years. From 25 to semi-retired, we are all of various ages and come from different work backgrounds. We work hard and well together - in a positive, flexible, and supportive environment. **No experienced required - only a can-do attitude, and the ability to connect with clients**

**WHAT TO EXPECT?**

This is project based work where no two days are the same. One day you will be packing for a move, another day you may be photographing for an auction, and the other you could be unearthing boxes from a crawl space or staging a home If you enjoy working in different environments, with different clients and varying tasks - this job is for you.

**HOURS**

This is part-time work Monday to Friday with 18-35 hours (3-5 shifts) available depending on your needs & wants. This will be discussed during your interview. We are a very busy company with Spring and Summer being the busiest seasons.

**SCHEDULING**

We try to keep shifts at 6 hours and avoid rush hour traffic. The schedule comes out the Friday before the following week, however, you will have access to the calendar to see all upcoming projects - so you will have a general sense of the days you will work. _Hours can vary_, but generally are as follows:
Regular Shifts: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Move Day Shifts: 1:00pm - 7:00pm (0-2 x per week)

**PAY RATE & TIME OFF**

Your starting rate for the first 3 months of training is based on your previous experience & will be discussed - this is the hourly rate listed in this post ($25 - $27/hr). We greatly value our staff and provide timely raises based on performance - as well as providing flexibility in scheduling and time off. Extended holiday vacations will need to be discussed during your interview - though we understand that everybody needs time off

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**1. PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS**

While you will be trained on all our systems and procedures - and will _always_ receive ongoing support - natural problem solving skills are essential. We provide detailed systems, procedures, and instructions for every project - and reference information that is available at your fingertips.

**2. VEHICLE & SMART PHONE**

You will be required to travel to various locations and transport your work kit everyday, and supplies (at times). You will also need access to a few free apps as information is shared & accessed digitally. These expenses (payments, gas, maintenance, mileage) can be written off come tax season.

**GROWTH WITHIN THE COMPANY**:
Over the next year we will be looking to fill other leadership, administrative, and social media positions. This is where there is room for growth - or simply more hours. We promote from within as you need experience working on site to have a detailed understanding of our services, systems, & procedures.

**All interviews will be done via Facetime or Zoom**

**PLEASE NOTE** a lot of our projects are in North & West Vancouver - but we work all over Metro Vancouver: Burnaby, Coquitlam, New West, Langley, Surrey, & Richmond. At times we _may_ work further out - this is when travel costs may be provided.
