**The Role**

The Vice President, Biopharma Partnerships, will be responsible for developing and executing McKesson’s strategic value propositions for Biopharma customers and for strengthening relationships with key stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for developing McKesson’s Biopharma customer
- facing service offering, and for assembling and leading a high performing team capable of collaborating effectively across business units and functions to generate growth and manufacturer engagement. The incumbent will develop an innovative go-to-market strategy combined with a centralized service offering supported by data, knowledge and market insights. The incumbent will also be responsible for implementing a marketing strategy designed to maximize manufacturer awareness and understanding of McKesson’s unique value proposition and to grow brand equity.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute McKesson’s Biopharma services strategy, and have P&L ownership and some operational oversight of a selection of manufacturer services, including but not limited to market access, commercialization, and data analytics
- Lead teams across various business, specifically market access business, account management, Specialty business development and marketing
- Build and inspire a high performing team empowered to execute strategic initiatives and engage credibly and proactively with Biopharma customers
- Hire and grow the Biopharma Account Management and Solution Advisory teams to grow sales of products/services to manufacturers
- Develop and maintain key relationships with strategic brand manufacturers and influential stakeholders
- Manage a consolidated view of Biopharma customers (Global business, pipeline, Canadian activities, P&L, Products, Service providers, Competitive landscape)
- Develop a marketing strategy to generate brand equity and awareness built on a stakeholder relationship management strategy including event participation and external visibility
- Develops a strategy to coordinate and govern multiple Biopharma customer relationships and business development initiatives
- Develop a formal account management methodology and ensure alignment on priorities between customer and all related McKesson
- Direct the design of specific data and analytics tools to develop highly tailored and individualized service offerings for manufacturers that will enable sales processes and inform strategic business reviews with manufacturer partners
- Achieve financial targets and has a proven track record of generating value

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements**
- 8+ years of business experience in a related field preferred

**Critical Skills**
- At a minimum, possesses a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field
- 8-10 years’ experience in a similar role will be a strong asset
- May come from a variety of backgrounds, such as business development, finance, marketing, sales or consulting
- Has deep understanding of the healthcare and brand pharmaceutical industry
- Track record of delivering top line growth and financial results
- Strong leadership skills and experience developing high performing teams
- Pro-active innovator who takes calculated risks to implement new ideas and creates a culture of collaboration
- Fosters teamwork and open communication
- Excels at building new businesses from the ground up in a complex environment
- Proven ability to create value for customers, employees and shareholders in a financially rigorous organization focused on customer satisfaction
- Is innovative, strategic and possesses strong executive presence
- Adheres to the highest ethical and professional standards
- Bilingualism (English/French) an asset

**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree required

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

**Our Base Pay Range for this position**

$160,000 - $266,600
