This course explores Corporate and Industrial network standards, proprietary buses and protocols and interfaces, distributed I/O, drivers and devices and their implementation in PC and PLC based systems. Layered network architecture, packet and circuit-switching networks, data link layer, medium access control protocols, LANs/WANs, cellular networks, and wireless networks.
