**Assistant Supervisor / Lead Teacher Job Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated **Assistant Supervisor / Lead Teacher** to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating an enriching learning environment, fostering growth, and supporting the development of young children. You will also provide leadership in the classroom and collaborate with other educators to ensure the best possible experience for every child.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities that cater to children's emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs
- Develop creative lesson plans that align with the curriculum and foster early learning and curiosity
- Actively supervise and engage with children to nurture their growth and developmental milestones
- Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment to promote a healthy learning space
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to foster a positive, supportive, and team-oriented atmosphere
- Work closely with the Center Manager, assisting with administrative duties, and serve as the acting supervisor in their absence

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience working in early childhood education
- Ability to educate and engage young children effectively, promoting curiosity and learning
- Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
- Classroom management skills to foster a structured and nurturing environment
- Understanding of early childhood development and learning strategies
- Full **ECE certification** (REQUIRED)

**Additional Information**
- Wage: $20 - $21 per hour plus a $6 government wage enhancement
- Full benefits available after 3 months
