**We are looking for a confident, charismatic Salsa, Bachata Sensual, Kizomba/UrbanKiz or Brazilian Zouk Dancer with a knack for teaching and explaining as well as picking up new dance steps. Curriculum will be given and taught to you to teach the students**

Are you passionate about dance and love sharing your expertise with others? We're looking for an experienced and professional instructor to join our team and lead engaging a Bachata Sensual, Kizomba/UrbanKiz and Brazilian Zouk Dance Classes for adults.

As a Salsa, Bachata Sensual, Kizomba/UrbanKiz and Brazilian Zouk Dance Instructor, you'll have the opportunity to:

- Teach fun and energetic classes that cater to dancers of all skill levels
- Develop awesome relationships with your students and co workers in the studio
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves through dance.
- Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential while fostering a love for Partner dance.

As a studio manager of TenC Dance Co’s Kitchener location, you will be responsible for:

- Taking and recording payments for the classes
- Maintaining bookkeeping and records
- Keeping the studio cleaned and maintained
- Opening and closing the studio for regular classes and rentals
- Organizing dance events hosted by TenC
- Promoting TenC Dance Co on social media apps by creating and posting new content

**Requirements**:

- Experienced as a **Leader** at an advanced level and active in at least two of the following dances, Salsa, Bachata Sensual, Kizomba/UrbanKiz and Brazilian Zouk.
- Minimum or 1 year of Experience teaching as a **Leader** any partner dance form.
- Experienced in performing on stage in various events as part of an advanced or semi-pro level performance team.
- Proven teaching ability is a must, with a talent for breaking down complex movements and concepts into easily understandable steps.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Reliable and punctual, with a passion for helping others discover the joy of dance.
- Willing to travel to teach various locations.
- Two years’ experience of participating in a dance studio as a performer or instructor.
- Must be sufficiently physically fit to perform in multiple professional-level dance choreographies, sometimes with only 1 minute break in-between.

**Assets**:

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Engineering or Data Science
- Awards as a Leader role in reputable dance competitions
- Studio or Rental Space Management - Supervising the Tenants who are renting the studio

- Event Management
- Sales & Customer service

Hours in-person are 6PM-10PM, Monday to Friday and variable on weekends dependent on demand. 12 hours of maintenance and studio management per week are mixed remote and in person with a flexible schedule.
