**Position**:Stewardship Coordinator
- Full time contract (18 months), with possibility of extension.**

**Report to**: Director, Fundraising & **Communications Department: Fundraising & Communications**

**Salary Band**:$20.00 - $**21.53 **per hour**

Reception House Waterloo Region is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Stewardship Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Stewardship Model aimed at fostering deeper engagement and strengthening relationships with volunteers, donors, and staff.

**Responsibilities**:
**Framework Development**:Work with Director, Fundraising and Communications to develop a stewardship framework for donors, volunteers, and staff.

**Donor Engagement**:Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and staff through personalized communication, acknowledgment, and recognition strategies.

**Impact Reporting**:Work with communications to create compelling impact reports to demonstrate the outcomes of donors' contributions and showcase the organization's achievements.

**Events and Gatherings**:Plan and execute appreciation events, donor, volunteer, and staff recognition ceremonies, and other activities to engage stakeholders.

**Database Management**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring that all interactions and communications are properly tracked and documented.

**Feedback Collection**:Implement surveys and feedback mechanisms to gather insights from stakeholders, using the information to continuously improve our stewardship strategies.

**Collaboration**:Work closely with the Director, Fundraising and Communications to align stewardship efforts with fundraising and communications goals and strategies.

**Reports and Analytics**:Generate regular reports on stewardship activities and outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for improvement**.**

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience in donor relations, volunteer management, and event planning within a non-profit organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with exceptional project management abilities.
- Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices is a plus.
- Passion for the mission of Reception House and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact.
- Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends and evenings.

**Experience**:
3 -5 years experience in stakeholder engagement

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
