**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Clinic Operations Manager plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of patient care through effective operational management. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, managing clinical and administrative functions, staff coordination, and the implementation of policies and procedures aimed at improving patient outcomes and service quality. The Clinic Operations Manager is also responsible for optimizing resource allocation, driving operational efficiencies, and fostering a high-performance team that consistently meets the program and organizational standards of care and compliance.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Oversee the daily clinical operations, ensuring seamless patient care delivery across all services.
- Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and balanced workload distribution, by supporting a staff lead self-scheduling model.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to align on goals, address challenges, and provide updates on operational performance.
- Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to ensure staff remain skilled and knowledgeable.
- Monitor program budgets, resource utilization, and expenses to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on operations, including key performance indicators (KPIs), operational challenges, and resource allocation.
- Participate in recruitment, performance management, and staff development, including conducting evaluations, feedback, and coaching.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards, including safety and healthcare regulations.
- Drive organizational change within the scope of operational responsibilities, encouraging innovation and adaptability.
- Design, implement, and oversee regular audits of clinical operations, covering areas such as training, health & safety, employee engagement, productivity, and non-billable time.
- Ensure the effective use of technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline operations and improve patient care delivery.
- Build relationships with community organizations, referral sources, and external stakeholders to enhance the clinic’s visibility and service reach.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- A Bachelor of Nursing Science or an equivalent post-diploma education.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of the scope of practice for RNs, RPNs, and other Allied Health Professionals.
