Marketing Specialist

The **Marketing Specialist** will support the business by providing expert marketing services for Pearson Canada’s portfolio of K-12 products. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with various internal/external teams to identify, manage, and deliver services such as: the design and deployment of sales support materials, event management, marketing strategy, messaging development, creative development, and project management. The Marketing Specialist may be allocated to focus on a particular component of the marketing life cycle and or service.
**As a Marketing Specialist, you will**:
- Collaborate with the members of the marketing team and other cross-functional teams on the planning, implementation, development and/or servicing of new marketing ideas.
- Support projects for various components of the marketing life cycle or services.
- Participate in the development, execution and/or servicing of marketing initiatives.
- Provide inputs on strategies which help enable internal & external teams deliver results that exceed objectives.
- Coordinate the development & deployment of marketing initiatives,
- Communicate clearly with multiple constituents in a collaborative cross-functional environment.
- Provide administrative support.
- Monitor and distribute RFPs, RFRs, and other public and private sector calls for resources and services, and support the drafting and submission process.
**As a Marketing Specialist, you have/are**:
A degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field OR appropriate combination of education and experience
- Social Media marketing savvy
- Experience with Front end web design (working knowledge of basic html) is an asset
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud is an asset
