**Position Summary**

We are looking for a self-starter to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. As Academic Planning Analyst, you will draw upon your experience in data analytics and insights to create value in data-driven decision making and provide support to the College budget processes.

Reporting to the Director, you will play a key role to interpret business and operational data through data collection, data management, analysis, data story-telling and visualization, and reporting writing for regular and ad-hoc projects. You will be responsible for a wide range of services as they relate to enrolment and funding, program analysis and evaluation. You will coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and respond to complex requests for data and analysis to inform planning, evaluation, operational improvements, predictive analysis and other decision-making processes in line with College’s strategic plan.

**Responsibilities**
- Build, implement and maintain data models for internal and external requests
- Identify, investigate and resolve any data errors or inconsistencies
- Perform comprehensive analysis and projections for enrolment planning, forecasting and monitoring process
- Support program review, develop costing methodologies, and conduct efficiency analysis to support the continuous improvement of the Academic budget process
- Develop dashboards, presentation, and other reports using data visualization and story-telling technics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders; provide planning support and guidance to budget holders
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Four (4) year degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or related quantitative discipline
- Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant data modelling and analytics experience
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard reporting
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and data analytics tools
- Ability to work with raw data and manipulate large datasets with high competency
- Strong communication (verbal/written) skills; ability to communicate complex data with a non-technical audience
- Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation
- Quick learner who grasps new concepts and techniques quickly
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to manage competing deadlines and changing priorities
- Strong understanding and commitment to the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion
