KBD Insurance is an established broker with roots in Montreal, now expanding into Ontario.

In this position, you will work closely with the Ontario operations manager at the Ottawa office to play a key role in establishing KBD in a new market.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Analyze, understand and identify the risks/needs of current and prospective clients;
- Offer the appropriate products based on clients' needs;
- Provide a timely and professional customer service to the clients we insure;
- Negotiate renewals and process modifications of insured clients’ contracts ;
- Explain coverages in a simplified way;
- Demonstrate empathy when a client suffers a loss and needs to open a claim.

**Qualifications**
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Outgoing personality
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Well-connected in the Ottawa region
- Have a certified RIBO license
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in-office
- Comfortable with technology and computers
