**Position Summary**:

Reporting to the Manager, Case Management and consistent with the Mission, Values and policies of St.Amant, the Supervisor, Case Management is a critical role in ensuring the success of St.Amant business and operations.

Exemplifying the mission, vision and values of St.Amant, the Supervisor, Case Management works collaboratively with partnered programs while offering employees respectful customer service. The Supervisor establishes and maintains effective working relationships with individuals, families served, advocates, service providers, community stakeholders, external service providers and the community at large.

Responsibilities of the Supervisor, Case Management include: promoting an excellent customer service focus in the provision of case management to clients, staff and in other professional relationships; performing all duties professionally, ethically and with integrity; and taking an active role and personal responsibility for continuous learning to promote knowledge and best practices in the provision of case management for children with the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As a Leader in Clinical Services, the Supervisor, Case Management is expected to disseminate information about their area of clinical practice and promote St.Amant Clinical Services both within the organization and externally to community partners, customers, and the general public. The Supervisor, Case Management ensures that clinical staff who report to them provide beneficial support, information, and leadership to other members of the organization whenever possible.

**Qualifications**:
**Educational**:

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited university
- Current registration and membership in good standing with the Provincial regulatory body or professional association
- Meets all competency and continuing education requirements of the professional licensing body

**Professional**:

- Supervisory experience in the management of service delivery staff, which includes performance management is preferred
- Several years of experience in case management
- Five years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Well-developed skills in problem identification, analysis and resolution
- Experience in policy interpretation, evaluation and implementation
- Ability to work in a community-based service environment
- Demonstrates practical and innovative problem solving skills in response to client or program needs
- Demonstrates ability to promote, model and support collaborative interdisciplinary teamwork
- Knowledge and experience with the practice of Quality Improvement (QI) in a complex environment
- Knowledge of current legislation, philosophy and service trends in the area of developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder for children and adults
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient with technology
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations and training to staff, clients, family members, community partners and external customers

**Clinical**:

- Minimum of five years' clinical experience, preferably in the area of developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Knowledge of the history of services to people with disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as current trends, philosophies and practices, and clinical theory and practices relevant to the provision of services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Demonstrates competence in clinical knowledge and skills necessary to provide optimum service and act as a resource to staff
- Demonstrates familiarity and practice of contemporary approaches to clinical supervision
