We are seeking a talented individual to join our growing team at Blackburn Media as a Graphic Design and Video Editing Specialist. At Blackburn Media, we're passionate about entertaining and informing our audiences while providing innovative advertising solutions. If you value creativity, innovation, and collaboration, you'll fit right in. Plus, you'll have the flexibility to work from your preferred branch in London, Windsor, Chatham, Wingham, or Sarnia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create visually captivating designs for both digital and print media.
- Edit videos for website and social media platforms, ensuring content aligns with brand standards and engages the target audience effectively.
- Adapt designs and videos to fit specific channel specifications, needs, and objectives, maintaining a consistent and impactful brand image.
- Schedule and manage digital ads according to client specifications, providing ongoing support and reporting to enhance client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Programming / Promotions to develop digital content that is relevant and engaging to our audiences.
- Support the growth of permission marketing databases via weekly e-newsletters, contests and incentives.
- Help execute local social media strategy, activity monitoring and reports.
- Generate creative concepts for advertising campaigns, online contests, and new content areas to drive audience interaction and brand awareness.
- Monitor and analyze performance data, preparing regular reports to identify activities that drive increased audience engagement.
- Support local execution of corporate sales and programming initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
- Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in graphic design, multimedia production, digital marketing, or web design preferred.
- Graphic design and video editing experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- You’re adaptable and a quick learner, who can get stuff done yourself and use other team members proactively when you need help.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment where a quick turnaround is needed.
- Displays a genuine passion for various design facets, encompassing photography and visual communication.
- Recognizes the significance of accountability and consistently takes ownership of tasks.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, fostering collaborative teamwork.
