apply**Job Summary**:
Assist Internal Control and Compliance manager for the 1st defence line duty, handle information technology-related duty, and business management function.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage RCM program planning, execution, reviewing, conducting, testing, reporting and documentation;
- Perform gap analysis to new/amended regulations, formulate implementation plan and track implementation progress;
- Review and update compliance policies and procedures;
- Review and make regulatory compliance comments on business marketing and promotion materials;
- Handle escalated customer complaints, maintain complaint logs, and complete quarterly complaint reporting to the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada;
- Conduct branch and department compliance testing;
- Collect and review the first line of defence Quarterly Compliance Self-Assessment;
- Provide compliance guidance to the businesses and departments, including for remediation efforts for any deficiencies identified, and ensure the rectification is conducted within a reasonable timeframe
- Develop training materials and/or provide training to the first line of defence about the program and tools;
- Act as liaison between business lines, Compliance and Internal Audit;
- Perform other ad-hoc duties.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in Compliance, Privacy, or any related banking experience within the Canadian financial services sector;
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Financial Consumer Protection Framework;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines for multiple projects at the same time
- Experience with Regulatory Compliance Management software, e.g. Ethidex or similar;
- Ability and comfort in dealing with all levels of staff within the Bank, as well as with regulators and auditors;
- Proficiency in Chinese language preferred but not mandatory;
