Registrar and Information Services is the first point of contact for students both current and future. If a student has a question, they reach out to our unit. We are here to assist students with navigating the University.

**About the Role**

The Assistant Registrar, Registrar & Information Services is an integral part of the Information, Records & Registration Services team and plays a key role in establishing integrated business plans and a client service model for the unit. The incumbent is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and operation of the programs and services Student Services delivers to all undergraduate and graduate students, prospective students and alumni. The incumbent is directly responsible for the day to day management and operations of the Registrar & Information Services office at the Burnaby campus, ensuring high service levels and standards are met; provides administrative management for front line cashiering services, Academic Records, Registration and Administrative services, Academic Advising services, Financial Aid & Awards information services, U-Pass and ID/Library Card programs, and integrated communication services. The Assistant Registrar provides leadership and develops a comprehensive training plan for a team of client service specialists; manages the business, administrative, financial and technical aspects of the phone, queuing, chat and Library/ID systems; and provides expertise in solving current student system issues. The incumbent plays a key role in the re-engineering of current business processes; participates in the assessment and evaluation of programs and services by developing and implementing performance measures and benchmarks; and is responsible for managing the unit's budgets, including resource requirements, allocation, and deployment.
