Housekeeping Administrator
Reporting To : Housekeeping Manager
Core Purpose of the Job : Provide guidance to the Housekeeping functions within the Site in accordance with the company policies and operational requirements of the Contract Agreement.
Scope of Duties and Responsibilties:
- Conducts daily briefings and supply distribution taking into consideration inventory control process
- Assist other staff with tablet use and maximo assigments as instructed by department Supervisor/Manager. Conduct, delegate, and administer related housekeeping duties, cleaning programs and/or project work
- Creates and updates schedule and call for relief housekeepers as necessary.
- Handle urgent/emergency calls when Manager/Supervisor is not available and contact on call Manager/Supervisor, as necessary
- Ensure safe work practices/procedures/methods are followed by the Housekeeping staff
- Ensure Housekeeping staff is meeting Reactive and Routine timelines as set out in the Project Agreement and/or on Work Requests
- Ensure that all Housekeeping equipment are regularly cleaned, is in safe condition and maintained in good working order.
- Perform audits and inspections as required
- Work autonomously, manage priorities, and solve problems independently.
- Utilize time management and oversees concerns raised by the Client are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Where required, performance follow up is made ensuring the client concern and rectification taken are communicated to the appropriate Manager.
- Conduct, delegate, and administer related Housekeeping duties/ cleaning programs/project work including but not limited to (Assigned PPMS, Heavy Duty tasks, Floor care, Carpet Care, Window Cleaning)
- Conduct training and provide administrative support such as minute taking, updating trackers, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documents as required, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Support the Administration team on their duties and responsibilities as required.
- Fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans.
- Undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service.
- Support the Company's Quality Policy Statement and actively participate in the achievement of Company and personal Quality objectives. Comply with the Company Policies and procedures.
