**Position Summary**

We are creating a digital ecosystem to support community change. In partnership with the University of Alberta, we have developed two digital products in addition to our website. We operate a search engine (similar to Google) and a digital learning guides platform (similar to Coursera). Each has a front-end for the users and a backend that allows our teams to upload content. We will be partnering with the University of Alberta to pilot our third, and final, digital product in 2023.

We are in the early stages of establishing a product management practice at Imagine Cities. As our first Product Manager, you will join us at the ground floor in creating our practice.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

With support from the President, you will lead the effort to create a product strategy (vision, roadmap and success metrics) for each of our digital products. You will be responsible for prioritizing development, creating user stories that align with the priorities, and test that stories have been completed to the specifications outlined in each story. Lastly, you will be responsible for reviewing customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve each of our digital products.

**Qualifications**
- Graduated or enrolled in a University degree or College diploma or certificate program
- Have at least 6 months of experience
- Concrete experience defining product strategies and building collaboratively with development team
- Managing and delivering product requirement documents (PRD’s) with prioritized features, and corresponding justification, aligned with the roadmap
- Have some experience leading teams or projects
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to keep on top of workload
- Have a good understanding of Imagine Cities and our digital products
- Able to commit to one year with the organization
- Sound computer skills including operating Google Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills
