**Title**: Manager, Cultural Safety & Humility in Primary Care
**Contract**:Three year term.
**Hours**:37.5 hours per week. (Core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri).
**Location**:Remote/Anywhere in B.C.

**About the role**

The Manager leads and supports team members in the successful development of the ICSH Engagement and Learning Pathway project. The ICSH Engagement and Learning Pathway is envisioned as a product or series of products that leverage existing ICSH materials and partnerships, with a user-friendly virtual interface to translate materials into interactive practice support tools, embeddable workflow resources, and at-the-elbow supports for community-based physicians and teams to improve relational, culturally safe practice(s) with First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples.
The project would be an iterative support for community-based physicians and team-based primary care providers at all stages of their cultural safety and humility journeys with non-duplicative, tailored ICSH resources to facilitate further integration of ICSH practices in primary and community care.
The central team will develop tools, tailor resources, and offer training/workshops that will be available to the Joint Standing Committees (JSCs), the Joint Collaborative Committees (JCCs), Primary Care Networks (PCNs), and other primary and community care providers.

**About you**

You have:

- University degree in Health, Leadership or a relevant field of study, plus 8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Master’s degree is an asset and preferred
- Firm grasp on Cultural Safety and Humility best practices and relevant certifications and courses
- Training and experience in advancing cultural safety and humility, and/or equity and diversity inclusion
- Existing relationships in the Health Care System and MOH and other organizations is an asset.

Occupational Certification
- Certificate in Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset

Experience
- Experience in developing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with stakeholders to advance objectives
- Communications and change management experience
- Experience in developing education and awareness tools
- Experience in working with First Nations
- Solid experience and knowledge of the BC Health Care System and Physician related processes and governance is an asset
- Leadership experience minimum of 4 years managing operations of a team, supporting budget and procurement activities
- Prior clinical experience would be considered an asset but not critical
